A time of change brought this on. The title refers to the mood of change and relocation which was upon me; heading for the unknown.

The space craft is based upon a beetle...the type with the hard shell on it's back which opens to reveal wings tucked away underneath. A few drawings later the conversion took place and solar panels, guidance systems, and the hull were all there. The painting took first place in a prestigious science fiction conference in Scottsdale.
