Multimedia: Acrylic and enamels on canvas, acrylic on wood, fretsaw work. Size 32 " by 40 " ( 80 cm by 100 cm) ; Date 2011.

This painting is a fun piece but involved complex work using unique processes at ever step. It was labour intensive. The layers move to three dimensions with the addition of the figure which is painted on wood and then mounted on canvass. The figure and flying towel involved careful fretwork and laborious coloring for each piece.

The different layers and pieces of the design were fused into a complete painting at a late stage where color and shape were 'keyed in' to complete a final unity of the piece. This added to the near abstract set of shapes and color in the whole work.

Needless to say it began life as a random and abstract piece followed by a manga drawing then it just grew from there.
