"Tooner Babe makes a splash "©

Acrylic and enamels on canvas; Size 48" by 60 " ( 120 cm by 150 cm) ; Date 2008.

A first in the repertoire using a manga style cartoon set against an abstract shapes. The 'babe' is making a splash in Miami where the artist spent one Christmas working on an album cover for a rock group.

It posed quite a few technical challenges. However the painting seemed to pull together at the end. When shown at a school nearby kids and staff loved it so this one is a success in my mind.
